Squat racks and real estate.

Who would of thought my two favorite passions would combine? The gym & real estate. A conversation at the squat rack with Kelly Anne completely changed my world.

Being a fresh college graduate from Kentucky Wesleyan, December of 2014, I was completely lost. I had a 4-year bachelor’s degree, and a piece of paper worth almost $100,000 (yikes)!! It’s amazing how God has his plans for you though, little did I know, he had BIG plans in store for me!

Kelly and I met through my fiancé, Chris. Chris had always bought and sold properties from Kelly. Come to think of it, we actually met at Kelly’s ugly Christmas sweater party!! To say the least, she’s had a big impact on my life, from match-maker to helping me develop my career (lol)!

So as I was squatting my 300 lbs, (of course out lifting Kelly haha!!), Kelly asked me if I ever thought about real estate, knowing I didn’t know what direction I was going in. I said, “No, but I want to do it!!” Being a new grad, studying was second nature to me. I was use to being a night owl, pulling all-nighters for a big exam. I studied like a crazy lady, obtained my license, and joined Kelly’s Team. I was hooked! I eat, sleep, breathe real estate.

My world went from organic chemistry and studying every organism under the sun, to analyzing every home value in the Owensboro area. You can say I’m pretty well rounded (haha)! And I absolutely love every minute of it!! I’m pretty sure my excitement can probably freak someone out, because of all the passion I have for my career. You can tell when I get excited about things I start to talk REALLY fast.

But in all, I love this journey. I’m so excited to begin new adventures here at Keller Williams. I know this is the best thing to happen to me, and I have so many opportunities ahead of me. I love this career so much, because I am able to meet so many different people. Everyday I want to be able to learn something new from someone; whether it’s a co-worker, buyer, seller, or a new friendly face I meet on the street. My ultimate goal in life is to impact people’s lives in a positive way. I want to motivate people, and to see them succeed. Seeing others succeed keeps me motivated. What I’ve learned most from my career in real estate is, NEVER stop learning, always keep an open mind, this is how you GROW.

I have finally found my niche in life. I have the greatest support systems. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without the team. And of course Kelly Anne, and my fiancé, Chris, always pushing me to my highest potential. I think my passion for real estate has become an obsession. I’m glad Kelly Anne is just as crazy as me!! I feel so fortunate to be able to work with this amazing team. We are always thinking BIGGER, and I love it.
